The Variety of Electronic Door Handles
The Electronic Door Handle and Door Fitting from Uhlmann & Zacher is a true all-rounder: It fits almost all standard doors with a thickness of 30 to 110 mm – whether wood, steel, aluminum, plastic, or even all-glass (in combination with a special glass door lock).
Thanks to certifications for fire and smoke resistant doors (DIN EN 1634) and emergency exit locks (DIN EN 179), it is also ideal for security-critical areas.
What's special about it: The electronics, mechanics, LED signaling, and battery are completely integrated into the compact handle itself. This opens up a wide range of possible applications.
Shapes, Variants & Combinations
• Handle shapes: L-shaped and two U-shaped (U-shaped are required for emergency exits)
• Roses: Round or oval
• Fittings: Narrow plate, wide plate, or short plate
The handles can be individually combined with the various fittings and roses – depending on the desired appearance, door type, and location. Mechanical or electronic versions can be combined on the inside of the door upon request.
For doors with particularly narrow frames, the electronic door handle with an oval rose or the door fitting with a narrow plate are perfect. Existing drill holes can be covered with a wide plate. For outdoor areas exposed to rain, frost, and strong sunlight, an outdoor version tested to protection class IP66 is available.
