Uhlmann & Zacher has been established in the electronic locking systems market since 1996. With numerous patented new product developments and system expansions, U&Z sets new standards in the field of transponder-based locking systems. Our focus during the development phase is on open and integrable solutions.

From concept and development to production, customer service, and technical support: everything takes place at our headquarters in Waldbuettelbrunn near Wuerzburg.

Social Commitment

Social commitment, especially in our local area, is of utmost importance to us. Uhlmann & Zacher was founded in Waldbüttelbrunn in 1990 and remains committed to its headquarters. Therefore, we support clubs, organizations, and events in the region.

Sustainability

Since 2019, Uhlmann & Zacher has been certified as a "climate-neutral company" in cooperation with CO2OP. Our photovoltaic system makes an additional contribution to minimizing our carbon footprint. From January 1, 2024, Uhlmann & Zacher also uses DHL's sustainable shipping service, GoGreen Plus Basic. Specifically, this means that shipments by air will be fueled with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). SAF is produced from environmentally friendly sources, such as used oil or residues from agriculture and forestry. This reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% over the entire life cycle compared to conventional kerosene. In this way, approximately 30% of CO2 emissions are saved on every TDI shipment. We are pleased to be making a further contribution to climate protection.
